How To Make Perfect, Extra Crispy Homemade Onion Rings From Scratch

  • 1 Onion
  • ½ cup of All Goal Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon of Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Egg
  • ¾ cup of Milk
  • 1 teaspoon of floor pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of desk salt
  • Bread Crumbs to coat
  • Canola Oil for frying


  • Rinse the onion and minimize into roughly ¼ inch rings
  • Rigorously separate the rings from one another (setting apart the smaller ones for different recipes)
  • Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and paprika in a medium bowl.
  • Coat every onion ring within the flour combination and put aside
  • Mix the remaining flour combination that you just coated the onions with, with the milk, egg, and salt and beat nicely till no lumps stay
  • Coat every onion ring within the above combination and shake away the surplus
  • Coat every onion ring in breadcrumbs
  • Fry the onion rings in a fryer or a pot with oil.
