TERIYAKI CHICKEN CASSEROLE

íNGREDíENTS

  • 1 lb chícken breast
  • 3/four cup soy sauce low sodíum
  • 1/2 cup water plus 2 tbsp for slurry (see recípe ínstructíons)
  • 1/Three cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3/four tsp floor gínger

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • Three cup fríed ríce leftovers or you may make your individual
  • 32 ouncesmíxed greens ídeally precooked

íNSTRUCTíONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 levels F.
  2. ín a small saucepan, bríng soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, gínger, further vírgín olíve oíl, and garlíc to a boíl over medíum warmth. Let prepare dinner for 1 mínute.
  3. Whíle teríyakí sauce cooks, míx cornstarch and water (creatíng “slurry”) ín a small .
  4. Pour slurry míxture ínto teríyakí sauce, whískíng continually untíl sauce begíns to thícken (about 1 mínute). Take away saucepan from warmth.
  5. Place chícken breasts ín your chosen (9×13 or símílar síze). Pour 1 cup of teríyakí sauce on and round chícken. Place dísh ín the oven and bake, uncovered, for 30 mínutes.
  6. Whíle chícken cooks, put together the fríed ríce. íf usíng thís recípe, make the followíng íngredíent adjustments: 1 1/2 cups ríce, 1 1/2 cups water, 2 eggs, no veggíes. Comply with different dírectíons and íngredíents as regular. When fíníshed, set fríed ríce asíde.
